CheckoutBeat walks your online store’s buy path with a real browser every 30 or 60 minutes: product page, add to cart, cart, checkout page, stopping before any payment. When a step fails twice in a row you get an email, a Slack message or a text with the step, the error and a screenshot. It also watches uptime, SSL expiry and theme changes.

## The feature: Store check

Walks a store’s buy path (product page, add to cart, cart, checkout page) with a real browser, stops before payment, and reports each step with timing, the first error and a screenshot of the failure.
- Input: A JSON object with a `storeUrl` (the store’s home page or a product page) and optionally `productUrl` and `flowType` (`auto`, `shopify` or `woocommerce`).
- Output: A JSON object with the run result: `ok`, `steps` (name, ok, ms, error, screenshot), `checks` (HTTP status, time to first byte, SSL days left, theme fingerprint) and `stoppedAt`.
- Endpoint: POST https://checkoutbeat.com/api/v1/store-check (JSON in, JSON out; waits for the browser walk, or 202 with a job to poll at GET https://checkoutbeat.com/api/v1/jobs/{jobId})
- The walk stops at the checkout page: nothing is typed into it and no payment is ever made
- Monitored stores: GET/POST https://checkoutbeat.com/api/v1/stores; last 48 results: GET https://checkoutbeat.com/api/v1/stores/{id} (not metered)
- Auth: Authorization: Bearer <api key> (keys are created by a signed-in person at https://checkoutbeat.com/app/api-keys)
- Send x-usage-source: agent so usage is attributed to agents (does not change the price)

- Free tier: 1 on-demand check per calendar month (UTC), no card; scheduled monitoring needs a plan
- Starter: $49/month or $490/year; 1 store checked every 60 min, 100 on-demand checks/month, 3 API keys
- Growth: $99/month or $990/year; 5 stores checked every 30 min, 500 on-demand checks/month, 5 API keys
- Agency: $149/month or $1,490/year; 20 stores checked every 30 min, 2,000 on-demand checks/month, 10 API keys
- Scheduled checks are part of the plan; only on-demand checks are metered
- Pay as you go for API and agent checks after a paid plan's allowance is used: $0.25 per check (usage event "store-check")
- Refunds: any charge within 14 days, no questions asked
